What becomes possible when nothing is left to chance

A wedding at the temple where Shiva and Parvati were wed. A vow renewed at 3,000 metres. No two yatras are alike, and these are the things Ritesh arranges as a matter of course, woven into a journey built entirely around you.

Every journey is bespoke

VVIP & Sparsh Darshan

Privileged darshan at Kedarnath and Badrinath, Bhairav Ji darshan, and Maha Prasad from both temples carried back for every guest.

Sadhus & satsang

Meetings with the sadhus of Kedarnath and Badrinath, and private satsang with the chief priest, through our Mandir-Samiti relationships.

Every transfer arranged

Helicopter shuttle to Kedarnath, charter flights and a private SUV, with a larger Urbania arranged for groups of seven or more.

The journey, not only the shrine

Sacred stops along the way: the Ganga Aarti at Haridwar, Devprayag where the Ganga is born, Dhari Devi, Mana village, Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world, and in season the Valley of Flowers.

Stillness woven in

Meditation, pranayama and sound healing with Tibetan bowls, from a quiet camp in the Harshil valley to the banks of the Ganga at Rishikesh.

Permits & clearances

Inner Line Permits and every regulatory formality handled in advance, so you simply arrive.

Premium stays & meals

Comfortable 3-star hotels, daily breakfast and a major sattvic meal, pre-booked the length of the route.

Health & safety

Pre-trip checkups, on-trip medical support and full passenger insurance on every journey.

Add what you wish

From river rafting at Rishikesh to extra ashram time, the days are yours to shape. Tell Ritesh, and it is arranged.

A few of the 100+ messages each year

These are real notes Ritesh receives from guests, usually the moment they reach home.

I want to thank you for organising an excellent trip. We had great fun, and it was a very deep spiritual experience as well. We will definitely plan some more outings in the near future.

Questions pilgrims ask

The practical things worth knowing before a Himalayan yatra. Anything else, ask Ritesh directly.

When is the best time to do the Char Dham Yatra?

The shrines open in late April or early May and close around Diwali. The opening fortnight and the long weekends are the most crowded, with darshan queues that can run for hours. If your dates are flexible, the second half of June and the first weeks of September give you the same darshan with a fraction of the crowd. We route around the mid-July to August monsoon window because of landslide risk on the hill roads.

Do I need to register in advance for the Char Dham in 2026?

Yes. Registration is mandatory for all four dhams and for the Kedarnath helicopter route, through the Uttarakhand portal at registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in, tied to a government photo ID for every member of your group, children included. Daily darshan caps mean slots fill quickly once dates are announced. When you travel with AadyaShakti this is handled before you leave home.

Are phones really banned inside the temples?

From the 2026 season, mobile phones and cameras are prohibited inside the temple premises at all four dhams, to protect the sanctity of darshan. Take your photographs from the courtyard and the approach, then leave your phone with your group or in a locker before joining the darshan line.

Is the Kedarnath helicopter worth it, or should I trek?

The walk to Kedarnath is roughly 16 to 18 kilometres of climbing from Gaurikund to the temple at 3,583 metres. For older pilgrims, anyone short on time, or those who would rather arrive rested, we arrange the helicopter shuttle. For those who want the full pilgrimage on foot, we support the trek with ponies, porters and paced rest stops. Both are arranged end-to-end.

What does a private yatra with AadyaShakti include?

Every journey is run end-to-end: permits and Inner Line clearances, helicopter and private vehicle transfers, comfortable 3-star stays with daily breakfast and a sattvic meal, VVIP and Sparsh darshan at Kedarnath and Badrinath, priest and sadhu access through our Mandir-Samiti relationships, pre-trip health checks, on-trip medical support and full passenger insurance. You carry nothing but your intention.

Which yatras beyond the Char Dham do you arrange?

Adi Kailash and Om Parvat, Kailash Mansarovar via the Kathmandu route, the 12 Jyotirlingas, Pashupatinath and Muktinath in Nepal, the 2027 Ardh Kumbh at Haridwar, and slower experiential journeys through Ladakh and Spiti. Each is private and shaped around you. Tell us the deity, the dates and the comfort you wish for, and we design the rest.

Who travels with AadyaShakti?

Since 2019 Ritesh Ahuja has carried more than three hundred pilgrims into the high Himalaya, including families, doctors, senior citizens and senior leaders from Maharashtra, Gujarat and UP, alongside NRI pilgrims returning for darshan. He has also arranged six weddings at the Triyuginarayan temple near Kedarnath.
